There is an anchient Chinese Proverb that says "may you live in interesting times" and this is meaning that your life be full of times that well basically make you cry. Because supposedly that is when we are living. Dont know if id say its true but there is something to it.

well...perhaps it's also that men don't tend to cry alot, so when they do, us women seem to think it's interesting and "big".
